Butchers’ equipment meets consumer demand
25 April 2022
The North American meat processing equipment market, including butchers’ equipment, shows no signs of slowing down, a recent market report suggests.
The market is estimated to reach $5.66 billion US by 2026, driven in part by a rising demand for protein-rich foods.
Butchers’ equipment, such as cutting and boning devices, band saws, slaughtering equipment, carcass opening and splitting saws, hock cutters, and skinning machines, is helping to meet this demand, because they lead to greater efficiency and yield, as well as quality control.
Innovative machines are also coming to market for byproducts, leading to a reduction in disposal costs.
Clearly, Canada is a great place to be for buyers and sellers of butchers’ equipment.
